My biggest complaint: the Nespresso machine does not have a milk frother whereas the DeLonghi EC155 does. Though I am not a designer, because the design is pump driven--it seems like having a frother would have been relatively easy and could have been incorporated with the elegant D110 design without altering its sleek appearance. Finally, a quick Amazon search tells me that the capsules that are to be used with the Nespresso line are proprietary, so there is not the competition like there is with the ESE pods used by other machines. A quick perusal tells me that the capsules are over $0.60 each, in bulk, while ESE pods can be found for closer to $0.40 online. The lack of frother and the proprietary capsules needed have me taking away 1-star.

Finally, this espresso machine is beautiful, elegant, very quick (you can crank out multiple espressos for a gathering quickly), produces excellent crema, has a small footprint, and is extremely easy to use. You pay a price for all of this and will continue to do so with the proprietary capsules. Again, the PC vs. Mac analogy is a good one.

 After a number of days of use here are my comments for the C100T and Aerocinno. i'm using the combo in an exceedingly tiny workplace setting. The no mess of the espresso machine is nice. The shots are smart|specialized|particular|dedicated|specific|really expert} and consistently good. The machine is incredibly straightforward to use. Fill w/ water, activate drop in espresso capsule, push button, and you're done. the sole disadvantage I will mentinon is that the capsules should be ordered from nespresso directly. In terms of price they're significanlty dearer than premium whole bean or ground espresso roast coffe (lavazza, petes, starbucks, etc.). therefore with regards to the espresso machine it's good for my workplace attributable to the no mess and no fuss cup of esspresso. Honestly, I love it. however in my home i will be able to be keeping my Starbucks barista espresso machine attributable to the actual fact that it'll take any espresso and at home it's straightforward to wash. The aerocinno is ingenious. it's the proper compliment for any espresso machine with one caveat, the servings that it will create are just for one therefore if you're making ready multiple beverages are massive single servings it should stuffed multiple times. ill the press with hot water to preheat it.
Put a kettle of distilled or filtered water on stove.
Grind 1/4 cup (adjust for type and preference) of fresh beans. I do about 10 seconds in the Bodum grinder, the key is you want it fairly coarse.
As the water comes to a boil put the ground coffee in press and add just enough hot water to cover and then fill your cups up with hot water to preheat them.
After a minute fill press to within an inch of top.
Let brew for 4 1/2 minutes, stirring occasionally with something that won't scratch surface of press.
Press very slowly, if you meet resistance, raise it up a little and continue.
That's it, you'll be amazed at the results. The variables are going to be the amount of beans that you grind, the amount of time you grind them and the length of time you brew, so keep track of what you do and keep mixing it up until you arrive at perfection.
